Blogging from the hospital bedside of my youngest son. His sudden tragic turn has shaken the family to the core and brings to the fore front how urgently in Maine those without medical insurance need care and not be turned away for being poor. I will be the first to tell ALLObamaCare” is a farce. The fact he had sought treatment three different occasions on his own and was spit out into the street nearly causing his death in the end  leaves an indescribable primal rage in me. It took my driving from another state to him, picking him up and taking him myself to the Portland Maine Medical Center advocating they do “something” and here we are. He was rushed into surgery, one hour from death.

A full recovery, probably not we are told if he survives.
